SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - California has set a state record for gasoline prices - but the hikes may be slowing. The AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report for Tuesday says the average price of regular jumped only a fraction of a cent overnight - compared to nearly 50 cents in the past week.
