Pop culture often influences baby names, but has this one gone too far?

According to Yahoo, an overjoyed parent introduced their baby girl Hashtag, a nod to tracking trending topics on Twitter.

"Hashtag Jameson was born at 10 o'clock last nite," the parent announced on Facebook Saturday night. "She weys 8pounds and i luv her so much!!!!!!"

This isn't the first time someone named their child literally after a social media reference. In 2011, an Egyptian man named his daughter Facebook, while an Israeli couple named their girl Like.
