Oracle to buy SelectMinds social recruiting firm

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. (AP) - Business software giant Oracle Corp. said Monday that it is buying SelectMinds, a company that uses social media tools to help recruiters.

Terms were not disclosed.

SelectMinds' products are already integrated in Oracle offerings related to recruiting, performance management and human capital management.

Oracle said it is reviewing SelectMinds' product roadmap and will inform its customers about any new features as it sees fit.

Oracle shares rose 15 cents to close at $33.10 in regular trading Monday before the deal was announced.
