REVERSAL: Apple says its products are going back on an environmental ratings registry, just weeks after saying it was withdrawing them from the list.
ABOUT THE RATINGS: The list from EPEAT is considered an industry standard and helps customers buy electronics that are environmentally friendly. Some municipalities also use it to guide their decisions in buying electronics.
WHOOPS: Apple says it made a mistake in removing them from the list and "heard from many loyal Apple customers who were disappointed."
