COMING TO AMERICA: Samsung Electronics Co.'s new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S III, will be coming this month. T-Mobile and Sprint will start selling the phone on June 21. Other phone companies will announce specific launch dates later.
AVAILABILITY: All four national U.S. wireless carriers will sell it, as will regional carrier U.S. Cellular.
COMPETITION: The Galaxy series has emerged as the most popular alternative to Apple Inc.'s iPhone. And in a first for a flagship Samsung phone, the Galaxy S III will have the same name across all U.S. carriers.
