Netflix CEO Reed Hastings is stepping down from Microsoft's board of directors next month.

NAME: Reed Hastings

CAREER: CEO of Pure Atria Software, maker of software development tools, 1991-1997. Founded Netflix in 1997, CEO since September 1998.
