WSU Post-Reggie Moore: Cougars Focus on Teamwork

Now, more than ever, Washington State will have to focus on teamwork to win on the Pac-12 hardwood.

While it is true the Cougars return several key players, including captains Broke Motum, VaVonte Lacy and Mike Ladd, gone is the young man who cranked the engine last year. Reggie Moore was kicked off the team during the offseason, meaning cohesion is more important that ever.

"The guys are working hard, attitudes are good, it's a joy to come to practice everyday and it's not always like that," said coach Ken Bone. "We're having a lot of fun."

"I think we're all looking forward to games starting," said center Brock Motum. "I think our chemistry will be good come game time."

Washington State has an exhibition game against Saint Martins on Tuesday. They open the regular season against Eastern Washington on Nov. 10.
