WCC Names Elias Harris Player of the Week

Gonzaga's Elias Harris was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week on Monday after an impressive performance in the Old Spice Classic last week.

Harris scored a season-high 24 points against Davidson in the tournament championship. He shot 67.7 percent from the field during the tournament, including 9-of-11 during the title game. He also shot 80 percent from the free throw line and grabbed a total of 23 rebounds for the Zags.

The senior forward now has 23 career double-doubles. His 768 career rebounds put him at No. 6 on the all-time Gonzaga record books.

Gonzaga returns to Spokane for a game against Lewis-Clark State on Thursday (KHQ/SWX). They host Pacific on Saturday (KHQ/SWX).
