UC Davis outlasts Idaho State 52-45

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - Colton Silveria rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown and Marquis Nicolis ran for 105 yards and UC Davis defeated Idaho State 52-45 on Saturday.

UC Davis (3-4, 2-2 Big Sky) used a balanced attack, including 309 yards and 3 TDs through the air and 338 yards and 4 TDs on the ground.

Redshirt freshman Courtney Williams rushed for 84 yards and 3 TDs, including a 55-yarder in the first quarter.

UC Davis' Randy Wright passed for 309 yards and 3 TDs.

Idaho State (1-5, 0-3) managed to keep up with UC Davis in the first half and early in the third, but began to fade.

The Bengals' Kevin Yost passed for 374 yards and 5 TDs. Receiver Rodrick Rumble caught 7 passes for 142 yards and a TD.
