Travis Long, Anthony Laurenzi Arrested in Separate Incidents in Pullman

Two Washington State football players are in hot water with the law after two separate incidents over the weekend.

Defensive end Travis Long was reportedly with quarterback Jeff Tuel when he was arrested for being a Minor in Possession of Alcohol on Friday night. Long was arrested on Greek Row on the 400 block of NE Campus St. at around 11 p.m.

Long is from Spokane and is a graduate of Gonzaga Prep. He turns 21 on Tuesday.

Separately, defensive tackle Anthony Laurenzi was arrested for third degree theft Sunday evening. The address on police records show he was at the Wal-Mart store in Pullman. Theft in the third degree amounts to shoplifting in general terms.

What will happen with Long and Laurenzi has yet to be determined. Of if it has been determined, the decision by coach Mike Leach or the university is not being publicized. A school spokesman told SWX Monday afternoon, "this is an internal matter and will remain so going forward."
