Terrance Sanders Named to All-Ironman Team

Spokane Shock defensive back and kick return specialist Terrance Sanders has been named to the AFL All-Ironman Team for the 2012 season.

Despite missing four games this season with a wrist injury, Terrance was able to finish second in Kick Return Average (22.8 yds/ret) during the regular season with 70 kick returns for 1,595 yards and 4 TDs. He also added three Missed FG Returns for 80 yards and 1 TD.

Defensively, Terrance led the Shock with 14 pass break ups and 7 INTs on the season for 180 yards (25.7 avg/INT) and 1 TD. He also recorded 82.5 total tackles (76 unassisted, 13 assisted) which left him averaging 5.9 tackles/game.

Combining Terrance's outstanding special teams and defensive performances, he led the Shock in All Purpose Yards for 2012 with 1,883 (134.5 yards/game).

Terrance joins five other players on the All-Ironman Team including:
