Tar Heels meet Vandals in final nonconference game

By AARON BEARDAP Sports Writer

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina meets Idaho on Saturday in its final nonconference game of the season.

The Tar Heels (2-2) are coming off a win against instate rival East Carolina, which was the first of 3 straight home games. After facing the Vandals (0-4), they'll face Virginia Tech in the first of 7 straight Atlantic Coast Conference games to close Larry Fedora's first season as coach here.

UNC cornerback Jabari Price says his teammates have worked hard to treat the Idaho game the same way as the upcoming ACC contests.

Fedora says the Tar Heels are still trying to determine "who we are as a football team," and the only way to do that is to "prepare the right way."

Idaho is coming off an overtime home loss to Wyoming.
