Spokane Chiefs Hockey Day! Spokane Looks to Even Series With Ams

It's officially Spokane Chiefs Hockey Day in Spokane, as the Chiefs look to even the series with Tri-City in Game 4 at Veterans Memorial Arena.
Spokane went down 2-1 in the Western Conference semifinals on Wednesday with a 2-1 loss to the Americans – their second loss in two games. All three games so far have been decided by a slim one goal margin.
Close but no cigar won't settle for coach Don Nachbaur and the Chiefs though. They want to win and knock the Ams out of the postseason.
"The general fan has to understand we have some young guys on our team and it's the playoffs, there's lots of pressure," said Nachbaur. "[On Wednesday] we didn't handle it really well but we're going to be better next game."
Friday's game at 7 p.m. will be shown live on SWX-TV throughout the region.
