Shock to Begin 2013 With Road Game at Cleveland

The AFL set the table for the 2013 season on Tuesday, releasing team schedules and announcing a new TV deal with CBS Sports.

The season begins Thursday, March 21 with New Orleans hosting the Orlando Predators. The Spokane Shock's first game is three days later on the road against Cleveland – a game seen live on CBS Sports Network.

The Shock will not play at home until the fourth week of the season when they host Arizona on April 12. The very next week they hit the road for another divisional matchup with San Jose in California. Spokane ends the season July 26 with a home game against Pittsburgh.

The AFL's new TV deal with CBS Sports covers 19 regular season games, two playoff games and puts the ArenaBowl on the main CBS Network on Saturday, August 17.
