The Seattle Seahawks made a couple roster moves today that affected local products.
Former Eastern Washington receiver Greg Herd, who hurt his should today in practice, was waived. The Seahawks also signed former Washington State tight end Andrei Lintz.
Lintz, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound tight end, tried out with the New Orleans Saints in April. He caught 10 passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns in 43 career games with the Cougars, but was slowed by a knee injury last season.
Herd, an undrafted free agent, was a longshot to make the Seahawks. He was the second-leading receiver on Eastern Washington last season.
