No. 3 LSU hosts Idaho team with 'nothing to lose'

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Enthused as Idaho coach Robb Akey is about taking his team into LSU's Tiger Stadium, he isn't under any illusions about how tough it could get on the field.

Still Akey says his team has "nothing to lose," when the Vandals (0-2) take on the third-ranked Tigers (2-0), and could become 1 of the darling teams of America if they come away with a win.

LSU is favored by six touchdowns, but coach Les Miles is making sure to remind his players of some of the more shocking upsets college football has seen in years past - namely, Appalachian State's 2007 victory over his alma mater, Michigan.

Miles says the Tigers must play with intensity and improve in advance of their Southeastern Conference opener at Auburn the following week.
