New York Liberty Extends Redmon's Contract

The good news just keeps on coming for former Zag, Katelan Redmon.

Her former coach at Gonzaga, Kelly Graves, said on Twitter on Tuesday that the New York Liberty extended her contract.

"Great job Red! Keep it Up!" wrote Graves.

New York, who drafted Redmon in the third round but released her during training camp, signed her last Thursday to a seven day contract.

She played nearly eight minutes in Tuesday's loss to Indiana. She finished the game with four points. The Liberty play Friday morning against Washington.
