He may not be the tallest, strongest, quickest of fastest on the team, but it is hard to argue Mike Hart does not have the biggest heart on the Gonzaga basketball team. After all, it is in his name.
The former walk-on, now senior scholarship player is the quintessential role player and a big reason the Zags are where they are on the national scene.
Speaking with play-by-play man Greg Heister, Hart said his experience at Gonzaga has been invaluable.
"I wouldn't trade anything for it, it's been a fantastic four years," he said. "In this fifth year I'm just so excited to take advantage of it and soak up every moment and enjoy the time with my teammates every day I come to practice. It's been the greatest experience you could ever have in five years at a school life Gonzaga, which is even greater."
