The Idaho women's basketball team's season came to an end on Saturday morning as it lost, 105-37, to Connecticut in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
The 16-seeded Vandals faced a tough task in 1-seed Connecticut, and quickly got behind, 22-3. Idaho trailed 58-17 at the half and the deficit grew to 74 points during the second half.
Six Connecticut players scored in double-digits, led by Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis' 22 points. Stacey Barr had 14 points to lead the Vandals.
It was just the second appearance in the NCAA tournament for Idaho, who clinched a berth with a WAC tournament championship.
