Idaho St football coach fires 4 assistants

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - Idaho State football coach Mike Kramer has announced he is not retaining four assistant coaches after the team posted a 1-10 mark and went 0-8 in the Big Sky Conference.

Kramer said offensive line coach Derrick Roche, secondary coach Daniel Drayton, defensive line coach Todd Bates and linebackers coach Rudy Griffin will not be on the staff next season.

Kramer said he wasn't sure if he would be the Bengals' defensive coordinator next season.

Idaho State gave up an average of 55.2 points and 356.6 yards rushing per game, last among 121 Football Championship Subdivision teams in both categories.
