Gonzales' gem gives Gonzaga baseball win in Hawaii

Gonzaga began a five-game series in the islands with a 7-1 win over Hawaii.

Starter Marco Gonzales stifled the Warriors' bats with eight innings of one-run ball. The left-hander fanned six and walked none in the first of a five-game set against Hawaii.

Gonzaga scored four runs in the first two frames, added a run in the fifth and then plated a pair in the eighth for insurance.

Mitchell Gunsolus, Cory LeBrun and Brock Slavin all had two RBIs for the Bulldogs.
