Friday Night Football In GSL

Spokane, Washington- A big night tonight in the Greater Spokane League as all 8 teams were in action.

Defending state champs Ferris, won their game over Shadle Park easily 35-19. Shadle Park however got on the board first, but it didn't take long for the champs to put this one away. Levi McBournie with the Highlander's no-huddle offense threw 2 touchdowns in the win.

North Central blows out Rogers on bubble night by the score of 49-28, on a game featured late on SWX. Jake Hoffman for the Indians played very well, and led North Central to come from behind to win the game.

Lewis and Clark at University Friday night, it was a punch-for-punch game with the Tigers pulling away with the win, Travis Ellington with a big 15 yard TD run in the third quarter. Tigers win 31-24.

Mead and Central Valley in a shootout with 3 consecutive scoring plays between the two teams. Central Valley scores on a Dustin Dach reception, next play from scrimmage for Mead however, Andy Wetzel makes a quick slant pass for an 80 yard touchdown.... But on the ensuing kickoff, Ryan Leone runs the ball back for CV as they go on to win the game big, 41-28.

Finally, wrapping up the night at G-Prep where Mt. Spokane makes a valiant effort, but fails in their bid to upset the Bullpups. Griffin Hare providing fireworks Friday night for G-Prep as Hare finished the night with 160 yards and 4 touchdowns. G-Prep wins 35-19.

Mead 28, Central Valley 41

Mt. Spokane 19, Gonzaga Prep 35

North Central 49, Rogers 28.
