Former Washington State star Kyle Weaver is coming back from Europe to join the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies added Weaver to their roster this week – a last-minute addition to their final training camp lineup.
Weaver was a second-round pick in 2008 and played in 56 games with Oklahoma City before being shipped off to Europe and the NBA D-League. Last season he played in the top league in Germany and averaged 9.3 points, 5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
His last NBA action was a short stint with the Utah Jazz at the end of the 2010-11 season. He played five games and averaged just over 5 points per game.
