Eastern Washington needs a win and help to make Big Sky Tournament

The Eastern Washington men's basketball team is coming off an impressive win in Pocatello on Thursday, but still are not guaranteed a spot in the Big Sky Tournament.

With five of the seven spots in the tournament claimed heading into the final day of the regular season, Eastern Washington is one of four teams vying for one of the final two openings.

The Eagles (10-20, 7-12 Big Sky) play at Weber State (23-5, 17-2), winners of 10 straight, on Saturday at 6:05 p.m.

Also in contention is Southern Utah, Sacramento State and Northern Arizona. Out of three potential three-way tie scenarios, The Eagles hold the tiebreaker in two of them. In the event of a four-way tie, Eastern Washington will not make the tournament.
