ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- Central Washington football caused a complete flip on the scoreboard between week one and week two, beating Simon Fraser 56-28, opposite from the season-opening loss at Texas A&M Kingsville, 35-7.
Wildcats coach Blaine Bennett explains the difference, saying, "Really we focus on correcting some mistakes. We're committed to running the football. I thought Ryan Robertson at quarterback position did a nice job getting us into the right runs, and our offensive line did a nice job blocking. We matched up a little better with Simon Fraser's front seven than TAMUK's front seven."
