Chiefs Continue Success At Home

SWXRIGHTNOW.COM - The Spokane Chiefs are looking to continue their success at home as the season progresses.

The Chiefs are currently one point out of second place in the U.S. Division of the Western Hockey League, due in large part to their outstanding play here in Spokane. They are 6-0 while at home, including a win over the Tri-City Americans, currently leading the division, in September.

This past weekend they hosted the Seattle Thunderbirds and Prince George Cougars, defeating both.

Unfortunately, the Chiefs have not had nearly as much success on the road this year, currently sporting a 2-3 road record, including a major injury to 20-year-old winger Blake Gal, who is out indefinitely.

Spokane has the opportunity to turn that losing record around with a 4 game road trip on tap, including two games at Prince George later this week.
