Chiefs 2-0 So Far On Grueling Road Stretch

The Spokane Chiefs continue their tour through the East Division after going 2-0 on the road last week.

Spokane beat Swift Current 7-2 on Friday, and then beat Regina 6-5 in overtime on Saturday. They play at Price Albert on Tuesday, at Saskatoon on Wednesday, at Brandon on Friday, and at Moose Jaw on Saturday. They don't return home until Dec. 14 when they host the first of three home games against teams from the U.S. Division.

Interesting Notes:

Spokane set a season-high 60 shots in Saturday's win at Regina.

Mark Kalus returned to the Chiefs lineup last Friday – his first game in 25 outings after suffering an upper body injury.

Blake Gal's next goal will put him onto the team's Top 10 list in career games played.
