BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Boise State guard Anthony Drmic has been named player of the week in the Mountain West Conference after scoring 34 points in the Broncos upset victory over LSU last week.
Drmic scored more than 30 points for the first time in his career and made 12 of 18 shot attempts in the 89-70 win over the previously unbeaten Tigers. Drmic was also 6 of 10 on 3-point attempts, had three rebounds and one blocked shot and one steal.
It's also the first time Drmic has won the weekly conference honor.
The Broncos improved to 7-2 on the season and will play Idaho Wednesday night at a neutral site in Boise.
