BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Playing without its first national ranking in nearly four years, Boise State will look to begin to re-establish itself in its home opener Saturday against Miami (Ohio).
And despite the Broncos' gaudy 73-7 record during his tenure, coach Chris Petersen believes notching an 11th straight home-opening win won't be easy.
Miami quarterback Zac Dysert entered the season as the third-leading active passer among FBS quarterbacks, trailing only Oklahoma's Landry Jones and USC's Matt Barkley. Miami's passing attack also presents a different challenge for Boise State (0-1) than run-heavy Michigan State did in the season opener.
