AFL Announces New TV Deal With CBS Sports Network

The Arena Football League on Tuesday announced it has a new TV deal with CBS Sports to cover the regular season, the playoffs and ArenaBowl XXVI.

Instead of trying to find the AFL on NFL Networks, fans can watch 19 regular season games and two playoffs games on CBS Sports Network. ArenaBowl XXVI, on August 17, will be broadcast on the main CBS network.

The new deal, according to AFL commissioner Jerry Kurz is a big win for teams on the West Coast, like the Spokane Shock.

"We couldn't be more excited to have the CBS Sports brand associated with the AFL and to have the growing CBS Sports Network as the new television home of our League," Kurz said in a news release. "One of the many noteworthy aspects of this partnership is that we will have an increased ability to showcase our West Coast teams."
