WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says he and the secretary general of NATO have agreed to focus the organization's 2014 summit on Afghanistan.
Most of the international troops in Afghanistan are scheduled to leave by the end of next year.
But while Obama and Anders Fogh Rasmussen (AHN'-derz fohg RAHS'-moo-sihn) have agreed a focus for the gathering, where it will take place is up in the air. Obama says Rasmussen is looking for a country to host it.
Chicago was the host city for NATO's 2012 summit.
Obama says Afghanistan was at the top of the list of items they discussed in the Oval Office meeting.
