WSU Football Game Day Traffic, Parking

**Official Press Release From WSU**

PULLMAN, Wash. – This fall, Washington State University has implemented a number of changes to their home football game parking plan. Additionally, an increased number of fans are expected to come to Pullman to watch the games. Due to these changes, the Pullman Police and Public Works departments have been working with WSU and our regional partners to mitigate traffic congestion and facilitate traffic flow.

If you plan to attend home football games, you may not be able to park at the same location that you parked last year. The parking for Cougar Athletic Fund member parking has been expanded, eliminating some general parking areas that were previously available on campus. Game day parking and transportation information is available online at:

• WSU Parking: http://www.parking.wsu.edu/Gameday2

• Pullman PD: http://www.pullman-wa.gov/departments/police/parking/wsu-game-day-parking

• Pullman Transit: http://www.parking.wsu.edu/GamedayTransit

General game day parking information:

1. Disability parking is available in the 3rd floor of the Fine Arts garage. A disability placard and identification card is required.

2. If you are a Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF) member, you can park in your designated CAF lot. A map is provided on the back of your permit.

3. General parking is available for $20 per game and can be pre-purchased online.

4. RV Parking is available on campus on a limited basis. All RV's must purchase and print their permit before coming to campus.

5. A free game day park & ride is available 3 hours prior to kickoff and runs until one hour after the end of the game. Park & ride locations are:

• Valley Road Play Fields; Valley Rd. @ Merman Dr.

• Chief Joseph Apartments; Terre View Dr. between Merman Dr. & North Fairway Rd.

• WSU Research Park; Eastgate Blvd. @ Terre View Dr.

• Pullman Aquatic Center; Larry St. @ Hall Dr.

• Living Faith Fellowship Church; Crestview St. just west of Grand Ave.

• Airport Rd. @ SR 270

6. "Residential Permit Parking" zones are located just north of campus and adjacent to Stadium Way that require a special residential parking permit. More details are available on the Pullman PD parking website listed above.

7. Pullman Transit provides free game day bus service on some routes (refer to Pullman Transit link above).
