Woman Burns Face In Spokane Valley While Lighting Cigarette

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -  A woman living in a house in the 100 block of N. Tshirley in Spokane Valley received burns to her face and some of her clothing when she went to light up a cigarette on Monday morning.

Spokane Valley Fire crews responded to a reported structure fire at that location. When they arrived they found the victim. The woman uses an oxygen tank to assist her breathing and when she went to light up, she was lit on fire. The extent of her injuries are unknown.
