Well Known Felon Arrested 39th Time
SPOKANE, Wash. - This morning, Thursday, April 4, 2013, the Spokane County SWAT Team served a search warrant near the 1700 block of East Mallon Road. This warrant was served on behalf of the Sheriff's Office Investigative Support Unit (ISU) after a lengthy Delivery of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) investigation. ISU detectives located 11-ounces of methamphetamine inside the residence, with an approximate street value between $13,000 and $19,000. 38-year-old Mark Bush and his 30-year-old wife Crystal Peterson were both arrested at the residence. They were booked into the Spokane County Jail on the felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) With Intent To Deliver. Bush is well known to the local law enforcement community and today marked his 39th arrest in Washington state. Bush has six felony convictions and his wife, Peterson, has four prior felony convictions. Bush has a local criminal history that dates back to June of 1991 filling 150-pages of criminal activity. Also at the residence was a 14-year-old boy. The young man stated that his dad brought him to the residence late last night from the Tri-Cities. When the young man was woken up by the SWAT Team, he realized that his father was no longer at the residence. Bush and Peterson were questioned about the young man's presence, but did not know who he was, how he got to the residence or who his parents were. Law Enforcement was unable to reach the child's parents and he was placed with CPS.
