SPOKANE, Wash. - A crooked beam stands in the entryway of the Spokane Valley Fire Department Administration Building. The old rusted piece of metal serves as a reminder to all of us of what happened on that tragic and sad day.
It is one of the beams from the World Trade Centers that came crashing down on September 11th, 12 years ago.
On Wednesday, the beam will be the center piece of the Spokane Valley Fire Department's ceremony to honor those people that lost their lives on that fateful day.
The ceremony started right around 6:59, which is the exact moment the first tower fell.
