Vehicular Assault Charges Coming After Rollover Accident Near Spangle

SPANGLE, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol says Vehicular Assault charges are pending on a 24-year-old Spokane woman following a one-car rollover crash just north of Spangle Saturday evening.

Washington State Troopers say Leah Gurske was traveling northbound on Highway 195 when she left the roadway just after Spangle, rolled her Jeep Cherokee, and came to rest in a field. Gurske and her 28-year-old passenger, Daniel Hill, also of Spokane, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. No word on their condition as of Sunday morning.  Troopers say Gurske was intoxicated at the time of the crash and she will be charged with Vehicular Assault.
