U.S. Marshals Tase Man Who Fired Gun From Trailer

U.S. Marshals took a suspect into custody after he fired a gun northwest of Fairchild Air Force Base on Friday afternoon.

Marshals were trying to serve an arrest warrant on the person who was hiding inside a trailer on the 22000 block of W. Jacobs Rd. in western Spokane County. The suspect fired a shot out of a window, and Marshals were eventually able to shock him with a Taser and take him into custody.

No one was hurt in the incident.

UPDATE: The female driver has been identified as Jennifer A. Schmidt of Spokane Valley. The male driver has been identified as Sean D. Moss. Both Schmidt and Moss were life-flighted by Medstar to Sacred Heart. The State Patrol says both vehicles were totaled and both drivers were wearing seatbelts
