SPOKANE, Wash, - Spokane police continue to investigate a stabbing that took place near the intersection of 6th Ave. and Havana St.
Officers were called to the area at about 2:00 Thursday afternoon after receiving reports that a man had been seriously injured there.
When emergency crews arrived they discovered the man had stab wounds to his shoulder and arm.
The victim was conscious and speaking to medical personnel before he was taken to the hospital, but was not able to give investigators any information about his attacker.
Based on information from neighbors, detectives focused their investigation on a home on the 4300 block of East 6th Ave; which is about a block east of the church where the stabbing victim was found.
Inside the home officers located another male suffering from a stab wound. He was also taken to the hospital.
A female adult in the home was arrested for providing false information to deputies.
Investigators don't know what led up to the attack. They believe a suspect driving a maroon sedan could be involved. They're asking anyone that may have information on this stabbing to contact CrimeCheck at 509-456-2233.

SPOKANE, Wash. - There has been a stabbing in the area of 5th and Havana.
All we know at this point is that one male victim was taken to the hospital with stab wounds to his back and hand.
