SPOKANE, Wash. - Firefighters and police responded to a two car collision Sunday afternoon at the major intersection of Highway 2 and Hawthorne in north Spokane.
Police on scene say one of the vehicles ran a red light and hit the other car. As a result of the collision, one of the cars spun out of control and hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was thrown about two feet, but only sustained minor injuries. We are told a possible fractured ankle.
The driver of one of the cars was also taken to the hospital for treatment related to an airbag deployment.
The scene is now clear.
