SPOKANE, Wash. - Right now the Hazmat team and Spokane firefighters are at the Federal Building in downtown Spokane responding to a report of a white powdery substance.
Fire crews on scene told KHQ's Chelsea Kopta at the scene that someone found the substance in the women's bathrooms on the first and sixth floors. Fire crews suspect it could be baby powder that a woman uses after her yoga workouts.
Right now the Hazmat team is using an instrument that will deem whether the substance is harmful. So far there have been no evacuations or road closures. Look for updates here on KHQ.Com, Facebook and our Twitter news feed.
