Train Hits Truck In Post Falls

POST FALLS, Idaho - A train hit a pickup truck in Post Falls Sunday morning, and amazingly the driver walked away from accident.  Police told KHQ Sunday afternoon that the man is "extremely lucky to be alive" after he was struck by a train near the Prairie Falls Golf Course On Spokane St.  Investigators say the man was talking on his cell phone when he crossed the tracks and was clipped by a train on the bed of his pickup on the passenger side. The train spun him around off the tracks but the man was not injured in the collision.  Investigators are still looking into the matter but the man was issued a citation.
