Tangled Osprey Wiggles Itself Free

TUMTUM, Wash. - An osprey that was stuck in a tree is now free Thursday afternoon.

The bird was tangled in some sort of wire near its nest at the top of a tree off of Highway 291 near Tumtum.

The osprey had fallen out of the nest and was dangling by the wire, keeping it trapped in the tree.

Officials showed up to try to figure out how to try to get the osprey down when it somehow wiggled itself loose.
