SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - You know that summer is really here once the pools open, so get out your swimsuit and get ready to enjoy summer when Spokane Valley pools open on Saturday, June 15.
Take a trip down the Park Pool Plunge slide at Park Road pool, 906 N. Park Road. If your swim style is more relaxed, float the lazy river at Terrace View pool, 13525 E. 24th. Or if you want to ease into the swim season on a gentle slope that leads to a full drenching under the water buckets, head for Valley Mission Pool at 11123 E. Mission.
At just $1 per person, swimming in Spokane Valley is still a great bargain for wild and wet summer fun. You can save even more with a $20 swim pass good for 25 visits. And the weekend family discount lets one child aged 12 or under swim free with a paying adult. As always, children under age 5 swim for free, but they must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Each pool offers a variety of open swim sessions, swimming lessons, and lap swim or water exercise options, so be sure and check schedules before you head for the pool. Remember to call us ahead of time if you plan to bring a group of 10 or more so we can make sure there's plenty of room for everyone.
New this year! For your convenience, our pools will have swim goggles, swim diapers, and ear plugs available for purchase.
You can find schedules and information on swimming lessons, swim meets and more on the City of Spokane Valley website at www.spokanevalley.org by selecting the Parks/Pools link. Or call 509-688-0300.
