These assaults took place at multiple north side locations, including the Shadle and Hillyard neighborhoods. At least one victim received medical treatment for his injuries. Officers spotted the vehicle driving and were able to pull it over in the area of 2200 E Queen St. Three subjects were taken custody. A paintball gun and a large amount of paintballs were located inside the vehicle.

At least five different pedestrians were shot with paintballs from this vehicle. Police believe additional citizens were assaulted by these same suspects.

The suspects were arrested and charged with five counts of Third Degree Assault (a felony).

The Spokane Police Department is requesting that anyone who was shot with paintballs yesterday and not interviewed by police to contact Crime Check at 456-2233, so officers can obtain information for an assault report.
