SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane residents were pretty excited to eat at the city's first Chipotle Mexican Grill on Wednesday, especially after trying for three years get it here.
The chain started with one restaurant in Denver, Colorado, in 1993 and now has almost 1,300 stores worldwide, including London and Paris.
That had local fans asking if England can get one, why can't we get on here in the Inland Northwest.
Restaurant officials tell FOX FIRST AT TEN they've wanted to open up in the Lilac City for some time, especially after finding out there was a Facebook page devoted to getting them here.
The "Bring Chipotle To Spokane" page was started almost three years ago and now has more than 650 fans glad to finally see the restaurant in their hometown.
If you want to check it out for yourself, they're located downtown off of Division and Cataldo just north of the river.
They're open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, but make sure you pack your patience; they are going be busy for a while.
