SPD Search Of Problem Homes Yield Arrest & Drugs

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police Special Investigative Unit Detectives and members of the SWAT Team served search warrants at two East Central Neighborhood homes. During the searches small amounts of heroin, scales and other drug paraphernalia were found. Timothy D. Price (DOB 05/15/1978) was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

With the help of citizen tips, Detectives from the Spokane Police Special Investigations Unit collected information indicating drugs were being purchased and sold from two homes located in E. Central Spokane neighborhoods. 

Early this morning, SWAT and Detectives served a search warrant on 217 S. Fiske. This house is known by neighbors to be a problem and neighborhood resource officers regularly respond to this location. Detectives discovered small amounts of heroin at the residence. They also arrested Timothy D. Price for Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

Immediately following the raid on Fiske, Detectives served a second search warrant on 2320 E. Fourth. Detectives discovered small amounts of heroin along with scales and other drug paraphernalia. One person was detained for questioning and released. 

These raids demonstrate the commitment of the Spokane Police Department to reducing crime and the presence of drugs in our community.
