Sex Offender Wanted On New Charges

**Press Release From Spokane County Sheriff's Office**

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - On Thursday, September 27, 2012, Spokane County Sexual Assault Unit, Investigative Task Force and Investigative Support Unit Detectives served a search warrant at a residence near the 24000 block of North Elk-Chattaroy Road in Chattaroy, WA.  This warrant was the result of a two-month investigation dealing with multiple allegations that 42-year-old Leslie Morgan, a registered level I sex offender, had been providing juvenile females with alcohol, marijuana and psilocybin (hallucinogenic mushrooms) at his residence.  Furthermore, multiple juvenile female victims told investigators Morgan would grope the outside of their clothing after drinking or using controlled substances.  These incidents were reported to the Sexual Assault Unit mid-August of this year, but had been taking place for several months.   On Thursday, detectives located a large marijuana grow at Morgan's Chattaroy residence.  They also located other evidence specific to where the juvenile female victims said it would be located.  Morgan was not located at the residence at the time of the search.   Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Morgan for four counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Distribution to Persons Under The Age Of Eighteen) with sexual motivation and one count of Child Molestation in the 3rd Degree.  Several additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
