SPOKANE, Wash. - Police are discouraging people from giving money to an overly aggressive panhandler. Police identify the woman as Amanda Obidowski and say they have received numerous complaints about her panhandling tactics.
Complaints have ranged from her attacking cars, threatening old people, and stalking others at ATMs. She has been seen begging for money all over Spokane. Police say Obidowski has yet to be violent, but they warn people to be aware of her, and to just ignore her demands for money.
They say if people stop giving her what she wants she will eventually stop the harassing tactics.
