Police Investigate Stabbing In Downtown Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane police are investigating a stabbing in downtown Spokane. The male victim was found just after 5:30 Thursday night walking in the area of Pacific Ave. and Bernard St. holding his chest and asking for help. A passerby called 911.

Police tell us that victim has a stab wound to the chest that penetrated his lung. He may need surgery, but they say the injury is not life threatening.

A perimeter was set up, but a stabber has not been found.
