Police Arrest Three Suspects On Four Related Robberies Within An Hour In Downtown Spokane

Spokane Police Department Press Release:

Friday night in between the hour of 6:30pm and 7:30pm Spokane Police Department responded to three robberies and one attempted robbery which all occurred in the downtown area. In each case, a male was walking downtown alone and was confronted, attacked and robbed. Two of the victims had minor injuries from the assaults.   Through witness descriptions of the suspects, officers were able to determine the incidents were related.  Officers saturated the area looking for the suspects hoping to locate them before they targeted another victim. Ofc McMurtrey located three of the suspects at Sprague/Stevens.

Witnesses were able to identify the suspects, 28 year-old Shane Lemmons, 26 year-old Nathan Lemmons and a 16 year-old juvenile male as the persons who committed the crimes.  Officers recovered some of the property stolen during the robberies. The three suspects were booked into jail (and juvenile) for 3 counts of 1st Robbery each. The juvenile was also booked for two counts of 3rd assault after he spit on two of the officers who arrested him.  Police are still searching for a female who was involved in the robberies. She is described as white, 5'5", late teens-early 20's, wearing dark clothing and carrying a skateboard.
